Our School

             This school was established in 1926; it was twice renamed and remained as Nan-an Elementary School in August 1968.  The previous principals’ elaborate design and the school members’ efforts had upgraded as well as built a good teaching environment.

S          Students of the school lived in seven different villages, including Hai-liao, Gang-kou, Guan-liao, Nan-an, Gang-wei, Zhong-rong, etc. Thus, the traffic was inconvenient, and social resources were insufficient. Luckily, the students’ parents were zealous about education. School members also worked hard to overcome predicaments and to apply for subsidy to improve teaching environment. They also made efforts in beautifying the school environment to influence students’ dispositions implicitly.

SStarlight Choosing the star light for team's name, the meaning is : Our radiance,look insignificant, but through the small light,it can bring us to the every corner in the world.
	Our teachers: Yi-Ting Wang、Ming-Hung Ho、Hsiao-Ping Lu	We are the teachers of Starlight.   Starlight belongs to Nan-An Elementary School, which is in the countryside. There are lots of tombs and farmlands around our school.  Welcome you to visit.
	Yu-Chin Chiang	Hi~ My name is Ariel.     I'm born in Taiwan but I grown up in Canada. My Chinese may be not as good as other classmates, but l can speak English and French. I am learning Japanese.

Our Hometown

      Our school is located at Nan-an village, An-Ding township, Tainan, Taiwan.  At ancient times, Nan-an Village called"you-che." It was said, there were some people set up the sesame oil vehicle in Nan-an Village which help people to coarctation seame oil. Therefore it had the name "you-che" and sesame oil became special local product in Anding. However, as time went by, because of the develop of industry and trade, the traditional product downfall gradually. And Nan-an Village doesn't have "oil vehicle" to help people coarctation sesame oil. Nowadays it only has few "sesame oil room" in Danei, Sunhwa, Shanshan, and Anding. During the sesame harvest, some village people make money by coarctation sesame oil. But the process to produce the sesame oil has been instead of machine.

The process of coarctation :

1.  roast slightly over a fire	2. to mill
3. to evaporate	4. pack up
5. coarctation oil
p.s. The traditional sesame oil vehicle is to chisel by a whole timber.
